Well we left Denver a on the 24th and we are now in San Francisco! Sorry about the lack of pictures from Denver and for California. We've been very busy and don't have a consistent home base so getting on the computer is quite the chore! We aren't sure our plans are but we might be here for three weeks or leaving in 4 days. We have no clue. But what we do know is that whatever happens, it will be an adventure and in some ways challenging. I'll post pictures when I can.

Mountains.
So it's Wednesday and we've been in Denver almost a week. It's been a total blast and we are enjoying ourselves immensely. We're staying with four very nice ladies who are taking very good care of us. We've played music downtown, went to Boulder to hike around the rockies, lost one bike and wrecked another, busted out our jorts and have eaten probably three dozen eggs. I wrote one song and am working on another and made album art for it so I'm pretty excited about that. Here are some pictures and there will probably be more to come!

Truck Stop Blues.
After three days of tacos, pizza, Settlers of Catan and movies,we said goodbye to Casey, who is wonderful host and an even better friend. But before we parted ways, we hung out with him in Omaha. Omaha is an incredibly nice city and we were all thoroughly with it. We went into the Saddle Creek Records record store, owned by one of my favorite song-writers, and I spent far too much money on records, which made my whole week just that much better. We're now waiting for a bus at a truck stop motel. We have at least a four hour wait until our bus comes to take us to Denver. Good thing I have four new albums and the internet. Listen to this song while browsing pictures (written by Conor Oberst's old band, Los Desaparecidos). Note the reference in the song to Kum-and-Go, which is a mid-west gas station chain.
We had a blast.

Straw Polls.
We have arrived in Ames, IA! After spending a week making new friends and visiting old friends in Normal/Bloomington, IL, Danielle drove us to Davenport where Casey met us for lunch at a super cool diner called Ross's. Last week was swell! Nichole took very good care of us and we even got to attend a jorts themed party. RAD. I also landed my first ollie today without breaking my elbow. That's a huge accomplishment for me because I'm physically inept and have only been riding a skateboard since Wednesday. Also, we stopped at the WORLD'S LARGEST TRUCKSTOP!!

Tunes.
Every time I hear this song, California seems so much closer and far more appealing. Enjoy.

Windy Cities.
We ate pizza, almost got fined $500 by a guy on a segway (aka Paul Blart, Park Cop), met a nice Australian lady named Toni and went to the zoo. Pics from our day trip to Chicago!

Movin-ons.
After our friend Nichole fetched us from Indy, we are now in the Windy City! Home of da Bears, da Cubs and Kanye West! Deep Dish Pizza and President Barak Obama! Where the Ferris Wheel made its first debut in 1893 and where Indie/Punk artist Evan Weis (stage name Into It. Over It.) currently resides. We're going to the zoo today and hope eating some of that messy, gooey Chicago pizza.

Farewells.
We left our adopted Indianapolis family yesterday and spent the night before eating and being merry! I also made $18 playing guitar downtown at 1am. GOOD BY INDIANA! We'll miss you and Timmy and Dan and Mary K and Mama and our new friends.
